People are afraid that if you remove law from people, you will give them a license to sin. But have you noticed that people are already sinning without a license and that being under the law has NOT stopped sin? ~ Joseph Prince.
Well with the law in place you govern people willing to be governed. People will sin regardless it is human nature as came in the garden of eden one of gods first gifts was that of free will unfortunately to take that away is to take away Gods gifts that is not something we are capable of and as humans we mess up or sin regularly
The issue is that the Law given by God was never intended to govern people. The Law is good and holy, but it has to be usefully. Check out what the real purpose of the Law is:
Romans 5:20 - to cause more sinning!!
Romans 3:19-20 - the Law cannot justify flesh; it only shows us that man is sinful before coming to Christ.
Galatians 3:11-12 - the Law cannot justify us; living by the Law does not require faith on our part; and, the *whole* Law must be obeyed perfectly -- something we are totally unable to do.
1 Timothy 1:8-9 - the Law must be used lawfully (on people) and is not made for someone who is righteous (in Christ).
Romans 8:14-15 -- Christians don't need to look to the law to show them how or help them to obey. That's the whole purpose of why we have the Holy Spirit inside of us, leading and guiding us.
Galatians 5:22-24 -- the Holy Spirit inside of us (for we are in Christ) produces fruit, *we don't produce fruit*, it is the fruit OF THE SPIRIT in us. Therefore, there is no law needed!!!!
Again, Galatians 3:10 and following -- anyone under the Law is cursed, because you have to obey ALL of the Law, not just try to obey it.
Galatians 3:24-26 -- the Law is simply a tutor meant to lead us to Christ, and only through Christ can we become sons and be led inwardly by the Holy Spirit (see above).
I just spent 5 days with global awakening healing school:)) I am filled to the brim ....sweet goodness I feel good. My brain on the other hand is saturated ....so I will have to respond to your comment and verses when my brain can register and I am back on my toes and not floating in...the holy spirit and papa....
