God made him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21
When Jesus was made to be sin, He did not have to fast and pray and ask the Father to pour out wrath upon Him. Jesus, who became sin and a curse, attracted God's WRATH like the ultimate wrath-magnet in all the universe. Likewise, when we were made to be righteous in Christ, we didn't have to fast and beg and ask for our Father's blessing. All His blessings zeroed in on us and chased us down as though drawn by the greatest blessing-magnet in the universe. Stop fasting, begging, and believing you're an orphan now abandoned by a neglectful, apathetic parent. Our righteousness in Him is a super blessing-magnet that will never fail.
